My patron saint celebration.

These days are very special for me and for all people who are from my town. The reason is because the 7^th of December is celebrated our patron saint celebration. This celebration honours the labour of “La Virgen del Castillo” since 1691. In 1642, she helped sixty one soldiers who were from Yecla, which is my town. All of them could return save and sound to their homes.

Nowadays, much people from Yecla join up in a brotherhood and carry out different activities. One of those activities is carry many flowers to the Virgin, who is called María Inmaculada. Another one is shut anywhere with an arquebus and gunpowder. I really like the smell of powder that the streets have after that activity. I am very proud of our traditions and I would like you to visit it.

 (I)  Nowadays, more and more people are interesting in running wherever, organizing groups of people to go running together.

(II) The advantages of doing sports.

     A.      It is a very good way for keep healthy our self.

   B.     That makes us feel stronger and self-confident. 

(III) The disadvantages of doing sports.

A.       People should hurt their selves’ cause of doing a bad movement

B.        Enough exercise may be dangerous.

Conclusion: In spite of the disadvantages, sports are and will always be the best option to forget problems, make us stronger and socialize with other people.

Describing my father...

The family member that I admired more may be my father due to the fact that I bear a striking resemblance to him. We both have not worn glasses during our infancy. However, nowadays, we have to wear it. About the demeanour, it seems quite similar because we have a good sense of humour, but I look on myself very moody, although it is not very usual.

My father’s characteristics are: he has curly brown short hair and also his eyes are like mine. The colour is a bit special because it is a mix of honey colour and little brown. His body is very fit because he has doing sports since he was a child like me. He is highly intelligent, he knows about everything. When I study, he always wants to help me explaining the content of any unit. I couldn’t live neither without him nor his life’s advices. 

Problem & Solution

Economic crisis is one of the worst problem Spain has, although governments are trying to solve that problem. Most of Spanish people have been laid off their jobs cause of there are not enough money to pay them the salary. So the problem increases the wrong way. All products have been increased trying to solve social’s problems or necessities, but anything has been solved yet. Furthermore, Politicians have stolen money from taxes people that are obligated to pay.

One solution is setting up new jobs for those people, or taking off some politicians of their jobs because some of them are only impeding the recovery of Spain. Citizens are manifesting to get helps from governments as grants and something like that. Generally speaking, politicians do not do as much as population does to save Spain from economic crisis.

Práctica 1. Write an opinion paragraph about something you really but most people don't like at all.

Although, nowadays, people prefer the beach and the cities, I prefer the mountains because being there is much healthier than spending those days in the city. The reason is that the air of the mountain is more wholesome than the air of the city. Its athmosphere is more polluted because there are a lot of cars running through the city every hour. In contrast, if you go to the mountain, you can practise different sports as skiing, rafting, climbing or just go for a walk. I really like steep hills where you can breathe perfectly and see terrific views too. On the other hand, if you go to the beach, you feel a bit dirty. That is for the wet which there is in all coast cities. I'm not against going to the beach, but people should go to unspoild places more often. Likewise, getting a tan is not as bad as people think, and sometimes we need some ray of sunlight. Besides, I will always prefer landscapes, rivers and mountains than the beach or crowded cities.

Advantages & disadvantages of living abroad

Living abroad provide us new knowledge and feeling self-confidence too. Many people have done it and they told it was the best experience of their lives. If you go in your own, you’ll learn more about that culture and language. Students are the most common people who living abroad, maybe for their degrees or just to learn different languages. That is the best way for it because all people cannot get on with foreigner people because of the different language. Therefore students or whoever who is living abroad must get on speaking. At last, when they become to their own countries, they’ll look like foreigner people.
On the other hand, not everything about living abroad is good. The first disadvantages is that who goes to another country to stay there as six months, that person don’t see their parents and also friends, so maybe that person would feel alone. Another one is if you are get used to the weather of your country as a warm one, then a cold weather will be bad for yourself and also you will have a cold. In spite of the disadvantages, if you have doubts to go or not, stop thinking and go to do your luggage right now. 

Contrast/Comparative paragraph (BLOCK METHOD)

Running or doing whatever sport is better than staying at home watching television to relax. When you are having busy days and also you are being overwhelmed, you have to do any sport. All sports make us feeling that we are just ourselves, thinking about our problems because our mind is as open so it is very useful to solve them. Besides, doing sports is the best way to get a healthy body and life.

On the other hand, staying at home watching the television or a film is not a good way to relax, although if you only want to sleep or you are very tired, then it’s not a bad way. Anyway, when you stay at home you start thinking about all your problems intensely, because you are into four walls so you don’t have enough space to evade your mind and think in a positive way.

In brief leaving our mind evades is better to get relax and solve problems than sitting down on an armchair and feel worse.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Nowadays, there are sports which people don´t allow men or women in. In that case, I'm going to talk about rhytmic gymnastics because I used to practice it. Since I was practising that sport, boys tried to join with us but they compited in different categories. Over the years people started to say that practising rhythmic gymnastics wasn't for men, therefore was only for women because the body of woman is more elegant as she is doing an exercise on the carpet. I disagree with that opinion cause of I know men who have won competitions, so they would have a good exercise and also have performed it perfectly.
The success only is gotten by those people who train extremely very heavy. Moreover they could surpass girls if they purposed.

My favourite place.

I've been thinking about what my favourite place is, and I decided that is on the top of the mountain, a peaceful place where you can forget all problems. There are people who prefer go to the city center and stay in a hotel than taking much less luggage and go to the mountain with amazing views of an snow-covered landscape. Relaxing with a hot cup of milk or whatever you like, seeing the snowflakes falling down and also can practice sport as skiing is the best kind of trip that someone could ask for.

That was one of my favourite trip because I used to go to Sierra Nevada, whose mountain is in Granada (Spain). There I learned to skiing only when I was six years old with my dad, so it's very important to me that kind of trip. It's three years since I last went to Boí-Taüll for skiing. University

All people ,who moved away to another city to study at the university, are overhelmed  at first because they have to do all houseworks and also the works which are sent by their teachers. Wanting to have the flat or student bedrooms completely tidy and cannot get it is frustrating. The less time they have, the worse the works will be even though they make a huge effort.

Thus I guess going little by little the first five weeks is the perfect way to pay attention correctly and do the best. Not sending a lot of things in short period of time to handing over.

Horrible Time

It was horrible the time which I´ve spent thinking a name for my first blog..
I am not a person who have a great imagination, so it was so difficult for me. Anyway i´ve got it.
The best way to find any original name or just an useful name is taking an Spanish word and
translate it into another language.
